I remember watching my mom lecture — she often had amazing images displayed using 35 mm slides long before we were using programs like Powerpoint. She loved images from history. So it’s probably not surprising to those who saw her teach that she continued to collect images from history in her retirement. For years she collected post cards of images of women throughout history. One of her best collections is her Women’s Suffrage Postcards.
I’ve started scanning these images to save them; eventually, I will be looking for a museum to which I can donate them. What’s in this post are just the first three pages from her collection. I know they gave my mom a chuckle. I hope you enjoy them as much as she did.
